Following the surprise drop of his new album Kamikaze, Eminem has unveiled the first video from his latest project — and it’s definitely trippy!

Directed by James Larese, the new video for “Fall” begins with Slim Shady perusing some of the less-positive reviews for his previous effort, 2017’s Revival, while cruising in a vehicle with rappers Royce da 5’9″ and Mr. Porter.

Fed up with the negativity, Eminen leaves the car — and finds himself being pursued by a dark force, not unlike Spider-Man nemesis Venom — which is actually the personification of his own dark impulses.

Eminem was recently interviewed by LL Cool J, and he opened up to the rap pioneer “NCIS: Los Angeles” star about the influence he and other trailblazing rappers had on young Marshall Mathers when he was coming up.

“You, Run-DMC, Beastie Boys, Ice-T… Fat Boys. I don’t know,” Eminem told LL Cool J. “It’s just something about the music spoke to me. It was so new and different and refreshing and you also didn’t really have to be able to sing, you know what I’m saying? It just spoke to me as a kid. I wanted to be like you. I hope that doesn’t sound weird… I absolutely wanted to be like you. I wanted to be like Run-DMC.”
