“Mr. Robot” is coming to an end after its upcoming fourth season, and star Rami Malek is still adjusting to that reality.

The actor appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday and was asked about the show ending while it’s still going strong.

“It’ll be hard to walk away from Elliot,” Malek admitted, but added, “It’s nice to walk away on a high note.”

Malek also confirmed that he knew the show was always planned to have a short run of either four or five seasons.

Asked if the studio knew those plans, the “Bohemian Rhapsody” star said, “They did but I think they had grand aspirations that we would go a little bit longer.”

Kimmel also asked if Malek knows what’s going to happen in the series: “I knew as much in the beginning as I know now,” he said cryptically.
