UPDATE: Wednesday, Dec. 30 (11: 10 a.m. ET) – The Mark Salling case continues to become more disturbing, with TMZ’s sources claiming that police searched the former Glee star’s computer and found multiple images of children engaged in sexual acts — with some of the children under the age of 10.

According to TMZ, the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force seized “more than a thousand”; images from Salling’s computer, and still have to search his cellphone, tablet and laptop

TMZ reports that the cops became suspicious after interviewing a former girlfriend of the actor, and, based on additional evidence, were “100 per cent”; certain they would find what they were looking for.

A court date has been set for Jan. 22.

UPDATE: Tuesday, December 29 (8:30 p.m. ET) – Following his arrest for possessing child porn, former Glee star Mark Salling has been released from jail after posting bail this afternoon. Bail was set at $20,000.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a court date in Salling’s case has be set for January 22.

In what’s sure to be a shocking development for fans of Glee, one of the stars of the musical TV hit has been arrested after police discovered he was in possession of child pornography.

Mark Salling, who played Noah “Puck”; Puckerman on the show, was arrested this morning, reports Crime Watch Daily, after the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served the 33-year-old actor with a search warrant at an address in Sunland, California (where sources say he resides).

The LAPD has confirmed Salling was arrested today on felony possession charge of child pornography, and is currently being booked at Metro Detention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

Although it hasn’t been disclosed exactly what the search uncovered, Salling was placed under arrest immediately afterwards. However, TMZ is reporting that “cops searched Salling’s computer.. and found hundreds of images.”;

This isn’t Salling’s first sex-related brush with the law. In 2013, Salling was sued by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery by forcing her to have unprotected sex in 2011. Salling denied the charge and the case was settled.
