Anna Kendrick showed off her rapping skills during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Thursday.
Kendrick, who has been busy promoting her new film “A Simple Favor”, was asked for a favour by DeGeneres… could she rap like she did in the movie.
After the actress took over the host’s Twitter profile, she then burst into song, despite cringing a little at first.

During the interview Kendrick also admitted to lying to the “Pitch Perfect” cast so she could get out of her birthday plans.
She confessed of her special day on August 9, “I did nothing. I’m one of those people that hates my birthday because I hate attention. No… I don’t know why.
“All the girls from ‘Pitch Perfect’ always try to get me to do something with them… I actually told them, ‘I’m in Vancouver visiting a friend.’ Now they know I wasn’t.”
