Ryan Reynolds may have finally met his match.

The Canadian actor is known for his high-calibre sarcasm and wit but he now faces a foe who may be too mighty even for him.

The 41-year-old acknowledged on Wednesday the People’s Choice Award nominations “Deadpool 2” received. “So honoured by all the People’s Choice noms. Hope you vote for ‘Deadpool 2’ and feel free to write us in for Best Family Film,” he tweeted.

And then came the jab Reynolds may ultimately regret: “Watch your f**king back, Paddington.” On Thursday, the fuzzy and lovable star of “Paddington 2” responded with one chilling hashtag: “#HardStare”.

This, after members of the “Paddington” cast and crew warned Reynolds. “Language, Mr. Reynolds, language,” actor Hugh Bonneville tweeted.
