Scottie Salton’s second run in the “Big Brother 20” house did not last long.

The shipping manager outperformed fellow jurors Bayleigh, Rockstar and Faysal to re-enter the house on Day 72, exactly one week after he was first evicted. The sweet taste of victory was short-lived, however, as Scottie was re-evicted just six days later.

Shortly after his second exit, Scottie met with ET Canada and reflected on his brief return to the “Big Brother” house. “That doesn’t bug me too much,” he said of being booted so soon after returning. “The only thing that bugs me is that I didn’t win a competition when I needed to.”

When asked what he would have done differently with his second chance, Scottie reiterated, “[I would have] won a competition!”

Seeing the glass half-full, the contestant relished witnessing the look on his fellow houseguests’ faces when he scratched and clawed his way back into the competition. “The moment I busted in and I was like ‘I’m back’ and everyone lost it. I was not expecting that reaction at all,” he told ET Canada. “I was pleasantly surprised. It was very nice even if it wasn’t one hundred percent genuine.”

Seeing his fellow jurors expressions now won’t be nearly as sweet: “They are going to be so disappointed. They probably won’t be surprised but they will not like it.”

What ultimately cost Scottie his chance at the $500,00 grand prize was his faith in Tyler. Scottie felt solid with Tyler, but when the latter won the Head of Household competition Scottie found himself in big trouble.

“I said what I said because I wanted them all to know that they could suck it,” he expressed of his eviction speech. “At the beginning of the year, I said Tyler was a coward and I think that even more so now.”
