Ricky Gervais is peering into his crystal ball and offering a pre-emptive apology to all the celebrities he’ll offend when hosting next Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.
Then again, you don’t have to be The Amazing Kreskin to predict that Gervais will shock and offend any celebrity brave enough to show up for the awards gala, given his propensity during his previous hosting stints to mock Hollywood’s elite with lines like: “Looking at all the wonderful faces here today reminds me of the great work that’s been done this year — by cosmetic surgeons.”;
