Omarosa Admits Donald Trump ‘Coached’ Her To ‘Come After’ Joy Behar In Last Year’s Fiery Interview On ‘The View’

Omarosa Manigault Newman is spilling all the White House secrets, not only in her new book Unhinged but in an interview on “The View”.

The former “Apprentice” star, 44, sat down with the co-hosts, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Abby Huntsman, and Sonny Hostin, to discuss last year’s fiery interview and her time as Donald Trump’s political aide.

In her book, Newman gives an in-depth look at her visit on the talk show in 2017.

But Behar wanted to know more: “He basically coached you before you came on the show last time.”

When Newman confirmed Behar’s statement, she explained that Trump “was so upset” with Behar because she “was constantly in his face and in Melania’s face.”

She added that Trump wasn’t impressed with Behar because she only “invited” his wife to the show to talk about jewellery and nothing else.

“You don’t invite people on,” Behar chimed in. “They get booked.”

Trump was so impressed with Omarosa in her interview that he apparently tried to coach Sarah Huckabee Sanders for her visit on “The View” but as Newman recalls, he believed the hosts “steamrolled” Sanders.

“He was like, ‘Why didn’t you do what Omarosa did, the way I told her to do it?’” Newman explained, “because she kind of looked weak, and he hates for anyone to look weak. He specifically told me to come after you, Joy.”

“Yeah, I know,” Behar responded, “because I’m not weak.”

Newman also confirmed that Trump does watch “The View”.

“Oh, he’s watching,” she said before waving to the camera, “Hi, Donald.”
