Kit Harington Warns ‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans That ‘Not Everyone’s Going To Be Happy’ With Final Season

As anticipation builds for the long-awaited eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones”, star Kit Harington is warning fans of the HBO hit that not all of them are going to be feeling good about what happens when the dust settles in Westeros.

MTV News caught up with the 31-year-old actor (who plays “King in the North” Jon Snow in the series) during the Toronto International Film Festival while promoting his role in “The Death and Life of John F. Donovan”.

“I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end,” explained Harington. “I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone.”

“I wrote the writers when I finished reading and just said, ‘I don’t think you could’ve done a better job at finishing this story,'” said Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (who plays “Kingslayer” Jaime Lannister) in a recent interview. “To me, it was very satisfying but also very surprising and all the things that I was hoping for.”
