Kate Moss is looking back at her years as a young model.
The fashion icon, now 44, visited “Megyn Kelly Today” and discussed the “pressures” she felt during the early days of her modelling career.
“Yeah, there was pressure [to pose topless],” Moss told host Kelly on Wednesday. “I worked with a woman photographer, Corinne Day, and she always liked me with no top on. And I did not like it at all when I first started.”
“[Photographer] Mario [Sorrenti] was my boyfriend so I was kind of used to it but I still was always like, ‘Can I just put some clothes on?’ But that was the job and so we kind of just did it.”
Now, Moss hopes budding models are given the choice to go topless, “They don’t have to do it if they don’t want to do it. I wouldn’t let my daughter do it. I look at her now and she is 15 and to think I was going topless at her age, it’s crazy.”
The proud mom is leaving it up to daughter Lila Grace Moss Hack on whether she’ll choose the same career path: “I will support her obviously. I will be her momager! She can, if she wants to. I will support her in anything she wants to do.”
