Sia and Dolly Parton are teaming up for the new Netflix film “Dumplin’”.
The duo will revisit the country legend’s classic “Here I Am” and transform it into a duet for the soundtrack of the upcoming flick.
The “Dumplin'” soundtrack will also include six new songs by Parton, co-written by Linda Perry, and will feature other artists, including Miranda Lambert, Mavis Staples, Elle King, Alison Krauss, and Rhonda Vincent. Jennifer Aniston and Danielle McDonald — the film’s stars — will also be featured on the soundtrack.
The upcoming movie will follow a plus-sized teenager nicknamed Dumplin’ (McDonald) who signs up for a pageant run by her mom (Aniston), a former beauty queen, as an act of protest.
“Here I Am” was first recorded for Parton’s 1971 LP Coat Of Many Colours. Listen to the remix above.
The soundtrack is expected to arrive Nov. 30.
