It was touch and go for a while as far as Scoot Braun was concerned.
Justin Bieber’s manager is sharing the concerns he had at one point in his life for the Canadian singer.
“There was a time when I would go to sleep almost every night — when he had the money to fly away from me — and I was worried every night that I was going to lose him,” Braun told “The Red Pill Podcast“.
“I thought he was going to die,” he continued. “I thought he was going to sleep one night and that he would have so much c**p in his system that he would not wake up the next morning.”
The talent manager, who also works with Ariana Grande and Carly Rae Jepsen, is referring to 2014 — around the time Bieber was slapped with a DUI and a wave of negative headline-grabbing public incidents.
“I think he made a conscious choice for himself to change, I think for a year and a half I failed miserably trying to help him because for a year and a half he didn’t change,” Braun said of Bieber. “It wasn’t until one day he woke up and said, ‘Hey, I need to talk to you, I don’t want to be that person anymore.'”
