Twitterverse Calls For MSNBC To Pull Reporter Out Of Vicious Hurricane Florence Zone

This is not the news reporter blooper reel you have come to expect from the internet.

Members of the Twitterverse are genuinely concerned for the well-being of MSNBC reporter Gadi Schwartz. He is in the thick of Hurricane Florence, reporting on the ground in North California.

“It is treacherous out here, and as bad as it looks right here, we’ve actually moved locations,” he said in a live television broadcast tweeted by MSNBC. “I’m using a building as kind of a wind block.”

“It’s almost as if we’re in a plastic bag,” he explained, noting how the rain is “painful” because of the high velocity of the wind. “This wind is extremely powerful.” People online expressed worry for Schwartz and criticized MSNBC for allowing him to report in such treacherous weather conditions.

Weather forecasts suggest the storm could dump 17 trillion gallons of rain on Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

It is so bad that first responders can’t reach people in certain areas yet Schwartz is getting soaked.
