Mel B has once again claimed the Spice Girls are getting back together for a reunion tour.
The “America’s Got Talent” judge confirmed the rumours on Thursday’s edition of “The Late Late Show” when host James Corden asked about the oft-speculated reunion. “100 per cent it’s happening,” was her reply.
Corden wanted to know if every group member was on board, and so he ran down the list of all the Spice Girls as Mel confirmed or denied. The singer revealed that Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), Sporty Spice (Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm) and Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell) are all “for sure” joining the tour.
However, when it comes to Posh Spice, a.k.a. Victoria Beckham, things are little more up in the air. “Well, we’ll see about that one,” she said, before adding that “she may join us for a few” shows.
Upon hearing the news, fellow guest Olivia Munn suggested having different celebrity guests fill in for “Posh” throughout the tour, and even said that Corden could start it off. While the late-night host didn’t seem too enthused with the idea, fellow guest Dr. Phil jumped at the chance.
“Katy Perry would be good, wouldn’t she?” Mel said, offering her own suggestion for a potential Posh replacement.
Mel also said that she still has all her original Spice Girls outfits and confessed to creating a “shrine” of Spice Girls memorabilia in her bedroom.
