Eminem spoke out about his supposed beef with Drake during Part 4 of his tell-all interview with Sway Calloway.
Marshall, 45, hit headlines after people put 2+2 together following the release of his latest album Kamikaze, in which the star rapped in the title track: “You got a couple of ghost writers / But to these kids it don’t actually matter.”
Despite fans automatically assuming the rapper was talking about Drake, Eminem has since insisted: “Drake is always going to be in my good graces because he did something for one of my daughters that I will never forget.
“I like Drake,” he then said.
Eminem went on to share: “What I’m telling you with those lines is, I don’t know what’s real and what’s not at this point. I’m telling you that I don’t do it, never have and never will,” he added of using ghost writers.
Marshall seemingly takes a shot at the likes of Tyler the Creator and Donald Trump in the LP, as well.
His interview with Calloway also saw him say the criticism he received for his 2017 album Revival led to the surprise release of Kamikaze.
The rapper shared, “I feel like giving them [the fans] no warning was the best thing to do. When the Revival tracklist came down the pipe, it was overwhelmingly, ‘This s**t is going to be trash.’
“And nobody really wanted to be wrong about it. A lot of people had already formed their opinions.”
