Ms. Lauryn Hill and her team have removed supporting acts Nas and Santigold from her tour, it’s been reported.
Santigold took to Twitter to confirm that she’d no longer be performing on “The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill Tour” for the remaining dates “due to the tour organizers’ decision to reduce the support.”
She’d previously said that she was “bummed” Hill and her crew “didn’t tell people” why they were not there.
As fans continued to question her absence from the Portland gig on Wednesday, Santigold also posted:
Nas is yet to comment on social media, but he did post about the tour as recently as this week.
Hill has been touring this summer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which was released in August 1998.
The Grammy winner previously said in a press release: “This album chronicled an intimate piece of my young existence. It was the summation of most, if not all, of my most hopeful and positive emotions experienced to that date.
“I loved and believed deeply in my community’s ability to both love and heal itself provided it received the right amount of support and encouragement.”
