The greatly anticipated second season of Outlander is just a few months away, but to whet fans’ appetites an intriguing new trailer was shown today during a session at the TV Critics Association press tour in Pasadena.

In the trailer, Claire (Catriona Balfe) finds herself suddenly returned to her old life in 1948, which gives her insight into a seemingly inevitable war that she knows will be disastrous for Jamie (Sam Heughan) and his compatriots.
