Kristen Stewart’s Response When Asked About Returning To ‘Twilight’
Sarcasm can be hard to read, so do yourself a favour and watch the video above.
ET Canada’s Graeme O’Neil talked to Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of “Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy”.
Earlier in the week, “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson said he would like to revisit the Edward Cullen character. Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, does not sound to keen on turning back the clock.
“Yeah sure. Absolutely, honestly, start sending scripts my way. Let’s start building this, let’s really explore,” she sarcastically responded. If you ever doubted Stewart’s acting prowess, let it be known she had her co-star fooled. “I was excited, I was like ‘really?!'” Dern laughed.
Stewart, 28, continued to reflect on the first film in the franchise: “On one hand it’s 10-years-ago and it’s wild and surreal to think about that, but then on the other, the memories are so close to me that it doesn’t feel like a lifetime ago.
Dern not only has the world premiere of “JTL” to look forward. Her gaze is also set on a possible Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.
“I’m just going to enjoy the party,” she said. “It’s amazing in the case of this year that a film like ‘The Tale’ is being seen and heard and is about voice and the narratives that we tell ourselves. So continuing that in different stories is very exciting, especially when it gets out there more and more because of support from the TV academy.”
TIFF wraps up on Sunday and the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards kick off on Monday.
