“Green Book” now has a TIFF People’s Choice Award to its name and that might just be the start. The award is presented to the film with the highest ratings as voted by those attending the film festival.

Many past winners have gone on to receive an Academy Award nomination, leading people to predict “Green Book” could snag an Oscar. Past People’s Choice winners include “La La Land”, “Room” and “12 Years a Slave”.
