Trombone Shorty’s Nirvana cover just got a little more authentic.

The American musician was joined by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl for a cover of the band’s song “In Bloom”.
Grohl has only ever performed the song twice since Nirvana split following Kurt Cobain’s death in 1994. The first time was alongside former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic at the iconic band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

The performance took place at Voodoo Threauxdown festival in Los Angeles on Saturday.
