From being nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards to raising over $600,000 for his “Charity of the Kids” concert, life for Jason Aldean over the past couple of weeks has been pretty crazy.

To add to the craziness, the country superstar is expecting his fourth child, and he exclusively sat down with ET Canada’s Sangita Patel to talk all about his wild family life.

Back in July, Aldean and his wife Brittany revealed that they were expecting their second child together, a daughter, who will join his two daughters from a previous marriage — Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 10 — and their 9-month-old son, Memphis.

The couple also revealed that they used in vitro fertilization to get pregnant with Memphis, later sharing they decided to do the same with their second.

Although the process wasn’t easy, Aldean hopes that his voice and platform can spark a positive conversation about struggles and triumphs of IVF.

“It’s a roller-coaster ride and it’s really tough mentally just going through that stuff,” the singer says of the process. “It’s tough and you see people that, you know, they save up and try to do this one time and if it doesn’t work that’s kind of it. It’s just heartbreaking a lot of times. But then on the flip side, it’s helped a lot of people be able to have children that probably wouldn’t been able to.”

Although he won’t be welcoming a new member to the family just yet, his current baby Rearview Town just landed at number one on Billboard‘s Top 200 album chart, making it his fourth consecutive album to do so.

One of the biggest songs off the album is called “Drowns the Whiskey”, a duet with country legend, Miranda Lambert, who he says was totally down for the collaboration immediately after he played her the song.

“After talking to her a little bit and kind of seeing where her head was at, I was like ‘well I got this other song. I think is going to be perfect for what you’re saying’,” Aldean explains. “Once I sent her [Drowns the Whiskey] she wrote back ‘I love this’ and that was it.”

However, Aldean’s next collaboration could be quite the unique one, revealing he would love to team up with Cardi B.

“Call me up! Call me up!,” he says when asked about working with Cardi. “My wife loves her!”
