Julie Chen is reportedly leaving “The Talk” after nine seasons.
CNN reported the news Monday night, with sources saying that the TV host’s decision to exit the talk show is effective immediately.

Chen will announce the news to viewers of the CBS show on Tuesday via a pre-recorded video message.
“She has decided that her main focus needs to be clearing her husband’s name from accusations made 25-30 years ago and tending to her son,” one of the sources told CNN.
Chen’s husband Les Moonves resigned as head of CBS last week following numerous allegations of sexual assault and harassment earlier this summer.
Despite her departure from “The Talk”, Chen will reportedly still host the CBS reality series “Big Brother”.
