The New York Times put an embarrassing error in print Tuesday in their 2018 Emmys coverage.

Twitter user Julia Reinstein noticed that in a spread of photos from TV’s biggest awards show, a photo featuring actress Angela Bassett had instead referred to her as reality star Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

Another journalist noted that the metadata for the photo online has since been corrected.

The New York Times soon issued a statement on Twitter expressing their “regret” at the mistake that originated in the incorrect caption from the wire service which had provided the photo.

Of course, that didn’t stop the internet from responding to the perceived slight at Bassett.

But do not count Bassett among those outraged by The New York Times‘ error. “Hey everybody, no worries,” she captioned a GIF of Kerry Washington in “Scandal” saying “it’s handled.”
