It’s the moment the world has been waiting for: when Meghan Markle saw her wedding dress for the first time.
In a preview for the upcoming “Queen of the World” documentary series, royal onlookers can get a sneak peek at the moment that the now-Duchess of Sussex saw her wedding dress and veil for the first time.
In the 40-second preview, Meghan’s face lights up after seeing her entire bridal ensemble, touching the veil and delicately moving her hands over the embroidered flowers from each of the 53 countries in the Commonwealth.
“Fifty-three countries, oh my goodness,” she says in the video’s voice-over. “It’ll keep us busy.”
Does the dress in the clip look familiar? Well, it just so happens that Meghan is sporting the same navy Roland Mouret Barwick dress that she wore the night before the royal wedding while checking into the Cliveden House Hotel with her mom Doria Ragland.
Could this special moment have been filmed just hours before the world laid eyes on her Givenchy wedding dress? It looks like royal fans will have to watch the documentary to find out.
The new docuseries is centred on Queen Elizabeth II and will feature multiple members of the Royal Family speaking about her and her dedication to the Commonwealth.
Check out the full preview of the series above before its premiere on Sept. 25.
