Drake is suing a former flame by the name of Layla Lace over false rape allegations and a baby scam.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ show alleged text exchanges between the “In My Feelings” rapper and Lace. “I miss you already,” Lace allegedly wrote. “Hope [you] are good love,” Drake replied.
The lawsuit filed by Drake’s attorney Larry Stein claims the Canadian met Lace during his 2017 Boy Meets World Tour stop in Manchester. The two reportedly had consensual sex at his hotel and “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex.”
Lace created a”fantasy relationship” with Drake, according to his legal team, but the rapper did not have the “time or energy to respond.” This allegedly led Lace to harbour resentment towards Drizzy.
In April 2017, Lace claimed she was pregnant in an Instagram post: “So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you[‘re] pregnant, they stop answering [their] phone!”
That same month, Lace spoke with Jazzie Belle on SiriusXM’s Shade 45. “I know who I sleep with unprotected, period. It’s one hundred per cent [for] sure [Drake’s child], he knows it.”
