Star of the upcoming season of “The Bachelor” Colton Underwood stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday to talk about landing the leading-man role, which qualities he’s looking for in his future wife, and how he’ll handle the fantasy suite.
Underwood explains that he only found out he was the new Bachelor shortly before the public announcement on “Good Morning America” and that his life has been a “whirlwind” ever since.

DeGeneres then asks Underwood, who is an out-and-proud virgin, how he will tackle the infamous fantasy suites, which can get a little hot and steamy.
“You can do more in the fantasy suites than just have sex. I mean, we can play board games, we can hang out,” he says. “You know, finding out the little things about [the candidates] is some of the most interesting things.”

Underwood then reveals the qualities he is looking for in his future bride. “I need somebody who’s fun, spontaneous, outgoing… appearance wise is sort of all across the board, but I just need someone who is a good person and someone who could be a good mother.”
Later in the show, DeGeneres surprises the 26-year-old by introducing him to the first three eligible bachelorettes and has him play a game of “Know or Go”.
