Millie Bobby Brown is good friends with Drake and she doesn’t care what the haters have to say about it.
The controversy started when the 14-year-old actress told reporters at the Emmys that she receives dating advice from the “I’m Upset” rapper and that they often exchange text messages.
“We just texted each other the other day and he was like: ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like: ‘I miss you more.’ He’s great,” the “Stranger Things” actress said.
“I love him; I met him in Australia and he’s honestly so fantastic,” she added before explaining that the 31-year-old Grammy-winner offers her help when it comes to “boys”.
Some fans criticised the friendship given the age difference, but now Brown is firing back at those critics, stating that she feels “blessed” to have Drake in her life.
“Why u gotta make a lovey friendship ur headline?” Brown wrote in her Instagram Stories on Thursday. “U guys are weird… for real. I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance.”
She continued: “I’m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don’t get to choose that for me. It’s nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships… jeez.”
