The “limited collaboration” is only available for 48 hours and, according to the Pizzaslime website, contains “approximately 12 tears made by Noah Cyrus as a result of sadness.”

The strange joke product collaboration came after Cyrus and rapper Lil Xan broke up earlier this month following a short but very public love affair that began in August.

According to TMZ, the gag was cooked up by Cyrus and her team to play off the breakup, but unfortunately someone decided to take advantage and start a scam GoFundMe campaign to raise the money to purchase the bottle.

The fundraiser managed to bring in over $1,200 dollars from fans duped by the scam.

Cyrus’ team became aware of the scam and have contacted GoFundMe to have it shut down. They have also offered to reimburse fans who donated, along with backstage passes to one of her concerts.

TMZ were also told there was never a bottle of tears, and that had someone actually purchased the item on the Pizzaslime site, they would have been refunded immediately, though Cryus’ team never expected anyone to actually buy it.

Cyrus fans who couldn’t afford the bottle of tears could also pick up special edition T-shirts featuring her father Billy Ray’s face with Lil Xan-like tattoos on him.
