‘The Bachelor: Vietnam’ Contestants Officially Dating After Shocking Confession Of Love

This might just be the most shocking moment in “The Bachelor” franchise history.

During a rose ceremony on “The Bachelor: Vietnam”, contestants Minh Thu and Truc Nhu confessed to bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung that despite their feelings for him, they were in fact in love with each other.

“I went into this competition to find love and I’ve found that love for myself, but it isn’t with you,” Thu said when she realized she would not be receiving a rose. “It’s with someone else.”

She then walked over to Nhu, and the two embraced in tears, with Thu saying, “Come home with me.”

When Trung offered Nhu a rose, she responded, “I’m sorry. I really want to get to know you because you’re someone who made me feel special and I haven’t felt that way in a long time,” but then gave back the rose. The two contestants then walked off together.

But the story wasn’t over there. As shown in a screencap from the episode on NextShark, Nhu eventually came back to Trung and accepted the rose. “After talking to Trung, I’ve changed my mind to accept this rose and continue this journey,” she told him.

Three weeks later, executive producer Anh Tran confirmed the two contestants sparked a relationship. “They left the show and have been together since. We delivered on our promise that two people would find love,” Tran told Nextshark.

This, after a social media user broke the news on Facebook: “They just wanted to make sure their feelings weren’t just a misconception of love because they are so close,” the social media user explained, adding that Nhu stayed on the show for two additional episodes before she asked to leave as she had “already found what she was looking for.”
