It’s a bittersweet moment for the cast of “Modern Family”.
The stars of the hit comedy series, including Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez, get together on “The Ellen Show” Tuesday to celebrate their 10th and final season and reflect on the decade they’ve spent together.
“Do you remember first impressions?” Ellen asks the group.
“I was nervous, because of course to work with all American people, but the moment I saw all of them I was like, ‘This is going to be great,'” Vergara shares. “Everybody was so amazing.”
“The first time that I met everybody was at the table read,” O’Neill tells Ellen. “So, we’re reading the pilot — we’re reading the script — and so I sat down and I looked around and I waved and I said, ‘I don’t know anybody here.’ None of them are famous.”
“So you thought it was going to be your show,” Sofia hilariously responds.
“I thought it was going to be no show!” Ed says. “Anyway, we started reading. Two or three minutes in, I go, ‘Who are these people? They’re so good.'”
