Netflix unveiled a new trailer for the sixth and final season of “House of Cards” on Monday.
The clip sees Robin Wright’s character Claire Underwood begin to make enemies as she insists she’ll no longer be doing what any man tells her.
Underwood says in the teaser: “The first female president of the United States is not going to keep her mouth shut.”
“I’m not going to be told what to do anymore, Doug. Not be you, or any man, ever again,” she then adds to Michael Kelly’s character, Doug Stamper.
The latest trailer comes after Netflix unveiled another teaser last month, which saw Underwood dealing with the loss of her husband, Frank, after actor Kevin Spacey was sacked from the show following sexual misconduct allegations.
She said in the clip: “My first 100 days as president have been difficult. I lost my husband. We were about to celebrate 30 years together.
“Whatever Francis told you in the last five years, don’t believe a word of it.
“The reign of the middle-aged white man is over,” she added.
The upcoming season is set to also star newcomers Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear as siblings who have ties to the Underwoods.
Frank’s fate was finally revealed in a previously-released clip:
“House of Cards” season 6 is set to debut on Netflix on November 2.
