Michael Buble is thanking fans for their endless support, especially during his son Noah’s recent battle with cancer.
The Canadian crooner, 43, sent a special video message to his supporters during an appearance on Smooth Radio Friday morning.
“This is the first time I’ve actually got to speak to the public in this country, so it’s important for me to be able to say it,” he began. “I don’t love talking about it, it’s too painful really and the truth is… you people, the people listening right now, you gave me and my wife [Luisana Lopilato] faith in humanity.”
Buble continued, “You made us realize in the worst times, that people are beautiful and caring and empathetic and kind. And the reason I am back here and am even able to come and have a record and come and entertain you is because of you. You showed me the love.”
And even though Buble and Lopilato stayed quiet through their journey, they knew fans were there, “You have no idea of how you saved us because we knew you were praying for us. We got the messages. We could feel the love and the outpour of support.”
He concluded, “So, I just want to say thank-you.”
Buble returned to music after a two-year hiatus he took when his 4-year-old son (then 2) was diagnosed with cancer. Buble and Lopilato revealed earlier this year that Noah is cancer-free.
