Stephen Colbert Writes ‘Whose Boat Is This Boat’ Book Entirely Using Donald Trump Quotes

U.S. President Donald Trump’s fascination with a particular boat has inspired Stephen Colbert.

Global‘s “The Late Show” host poked fun at Trump’s response to Hurricane Florence’s ravaging of North Carolina. “At least you got a nice boat out of the deal,” the U.S. President told two victims of the hurricane after a boat drifted onto their property.

“[Trump] made so many odd comments about that boat that, as a joke, we turned all of those comments into a children’s book made up entirely of quotes of Trump touring hurricane damage,” Colbert said. “This way. Donald Trump’s comments about that boat are helping in spite of him.”

Whose Boat Is This Boat?: Comments That Don’t Help In the Aftermath of a Hurricane is the name of the book and it is more than just a comedy prop.

Colbert announced on Friday that Simon & Schuster will publish Whose Boat is This Boat? for release on Nov. 6.
