‘The Voice’ Coaches Fight It Out, Throw Their Shoes On Stage After Contestant Leaves Them Speechless With Epic Performance

By Becca Longmire.

“The Voice” contestant SandyRedd got everybody talking with her incredible performance of Bishop Briggs’ “River” during Tuesday night’s blind auditions.

The singer left all four judges speechless as she belted out the powerful lyrics, with Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine battling it out to have her as one of their acts after all four turned their chairs.

Things got so heated that Hudson left both of her sneakers on stage, while Levine left one shoe, Clarkson handed over a Team Kelly satin jacket, and Shelton gave her his drinking cup.

Clarkson told her, “I don’t know who you’re gonna pick but I don’t care. I just can’t wait to watch you on this show. You are fire.”

Despite most people thinking SandyRedd would pick fellow Chicagoan Hudson, she eventually went with Clarkson.
