Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about marriage after she tied the knot for the second time with Brad Falchuk on Saturday.
The 46-year-old, who met Falchuk, 47, on the set of “Glee” back in 2010 before they were first romantically linked in 2014, told Marie Claire UK in the November 2018 issue of the mag: “I think that marriage is a really beautiful, noble and worthwhile institution, pursuit and endeavour.
“Because I don’t think you get married and that’s it, I think it’s the beginning. You create this third entity, this third being that you have to nourish and look after.”

‘For a while, I thought, I don’t know if I’d ever do it again. I have my kids – what’s the point? And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, no, this person is worth making this commitment to. I’m very much the marrying kind. I love being a wife. I love making a home.’ – Our November cover star @gwynethpaltrow talks love, marriage and Goop in the new issue of Marie Claire, out tomorrow 💫 • Interview by @janeymulko, photographs by #Tesh, styling by @tiffanyfrasersteele • #goop #gwynethpaltrow #gwyneth
Paltrow added that she wasn’t sure she’d ever walk down the aisle again after her split from Chris Martin.
The Goop founder shared, “For a while, I thought, ‘I don’t know if I’d ever do it again. I have my kids, what’s the point?’
“And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, ‘No, this person is worth making this commitment to.’
“I’m very much the marrying kind. I love being a wife. I love making a home.”
Paltrow’s comments come after she told ET back in January that she wanted to keep her second wedding simple. She previously eloped in 2003 with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Martin, whom she shares two kids with; 14-year-old Apple and 12-year-old Moses. The pair split in 2014.
A source recently confirmed to ET that Paltrow and Falchuk’s wedding was picture-perfect, with them gushing: “She looked beautiful; she was wearing a custom design wedding gown.”
