Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard is being asked to pay up.
Exactly two years after the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week, Pascal Duvier and PROTECTSECURITY are reportedly being sued over the incident.
Kardashian’s insurance company reportedly paid out $6.1 million to the celebrity, according to TMZ, for jewelry stolen from her on Oct. 2, 2016, at a Paris hotel.
Now, the insurance company is coming to collect that money from Kardashian’s bouncer Duvier and the security group he works for.
The lawsuit, filed by AIG, claims Duvier is at fault for leaving Kardashian unattended to accompany Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to a nightclub.
Furthermore, Duvier allegedly failed to flag security breaches such as “the front gate to the courtyard of the hotel was missing a lock, and the intercom to the door was not functioning.”
AIG argues that the security guard’s failure to spot these breaches inadvertently assisted the masked gunmen in raiding Kardashian’s room, gagging and tieing her up at gunpoint.
Back in April, French police made a new arrest linked to the robbery.
