Actor Marion “Pooch” Hall has been charged with felony child abuse and driving under the influence, stemming from his arrest earlier this month after witnesses reported seeing the drunk “Ray Donovan” star driving with his two-year-old son sitting on his lap, holding the steering wheel.
As TMZ reports, a breathalyzer test registered a whopping .25, three times the legal limit. Hall, 41, is facing a maximum sentence of six years and six months.
As TMZ first reported, witnesses called 911 after seeing the star driving with his infant son on his lap holding the steering wheel. The car then veered and crashed into a parked car.
The Burbank Police Department confirmed the report to ET, stating, “When police officers arrived, witnesses reported seeing a man driving a Chrysler 300 sedan weaving in and out of traffic with a small child seated on his lap.
“Mr. Hall displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and was unable to perform standardized field sobriety tests. Mr. Hall’s two-year-old son was riding in the car with him at the time of the collision and was determined to have been riding in the vehicle unrestrained, as required by law.”
There were no injuries, though eyewitnesses reported seeing Hall’s son crying in the front seat.
His son was released into his wife’s custody at the scene.
