Chris Evans Hints At Leaving ‘Captain America’ Behind With Tweet About Wrapping Production On ‘Avengers 4’

Chris Evans is grateful for all the memories the role of Captain America has given him over the last eight years.

The actor marked the end of production on the upcoming “Avengers 4” with a farewell tweet that sounded a lot more like a goodbye to his most famous character.

Evans has previously hinted that he would soon be departing the Marvel Universe; rumours have suggested that “Avengers 4” would be his final outing behind the shield.

The 37-year-old actor was first introduced as the patriotic superhero in 2010’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” and has gone on to star in 10 films from the Marvel Universe, including this year’s “Avengers: Infinity War”.
