The surprise guests just keep on arriving during Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour, which has seen her welcome such stars as Niall Horan, Bryan Adams, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Robbie Williams and more.
On Friday night’s show in Arlington, Texas, the “Bad Blood” singer welcomed Maren Morris, who joined Swift onstage at AT&T Stadium for a surprise duet on “The Middle”, her hit collaboration with Zed and Grey.
As Rolling Stone points out, the performance was a big deal for Morris, marking the first time the Arlington native has performed at her hometown stadium.
“I hope you don’t mind that I planned something special,” Swift told the audience before Morris joined her onstage. “I get to bring out somebody who I am – I think I can safely categorize myself as a superfan of this artist. I listen to [Morris’ Hero album] over and over and over, and I can’t wait to see what she does next.”
After the performance, Swift shared video on Instagram Story featuring the two singers rehearsing. Watch:
