On Saturday night’s concert in Arlington, Texas, Taylor Swift had yet another treat in store for fans when she welcomed a pair of surprise guests to the stage: country duo Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Nash, together known as Sugarland.
“We have never played the song ‘Babe’ live. Please welcome Sugarland,” Swift told the audience before the pair walked onstage to perform the song — which she co-wrote with Train’s Pat Monahan for Sugarland’s Bigger album — for the first time onstage.
With Nettles handling lead vocals, Swift joined in by singing harmony on the chorus.
Swift shared some photos on Instagram of the duo rehearsing the song during the sound check, and also thanked fans who attended the show:
