It’s safe to say the chilly relationship between Meghan Markle and her estranged half-sister hasn’t thawed after reports that Samantha Markle was turned away by a Kensington Palace security officer while visiting London.

According to The Mirror, Meghan Markle’s sibling reportedly flew to London in order to confront Duchess of Sussex after months of sniping at her via social media and media interviews.

As The Mirror reports, photos show the Duchess’ 53-year-old sibling being pushed in a wheelchair as they approach a guard at a security checkpoint, who apparently refused to let her enter.

As a result, Markle reported found herself in “an embarrassing standoff with police guarding the gates of Kensington Palace.”

Markle eventually left — “fuming,” reports The Mirror — after presenting the officer with a letter.

The big question: what is in the letter?

Judging by a tweet from Markle, she’s not telling.

Earlier in the week, Markle appeared on a U.K. television show, where she apologized for the insulting comments she’s made, explaining that she’s hoping for a reconciliation.

“I was hoping that maybe we would have the chance to speak, that she would know I was here,” Markle told interviewer Jeremy Vine. “But I don’t think that’s going to happen.” Watch:
