Lance Bass Joins HGTV’s ‘Brady Bunch’ Remodel Show After Losing Bidding War To Buy Iconic TV Home

Lance Bass will be involved with the “Brady Bunch” home remodel after all.

The former *NSYNC member put a bid on the iconic house this past summer when the owners put it up for sale but ultimately lost the house to HGTV’s winning bid.

But now, HGTV is producing a show surrounding the indoor remodel of the home, and Bass has been tapped to participate.

“The fans came to my rescue. They saw how hosed I got,” he told People magazine. “They forced HGTV’s hand to get me involved.”

He added, “I’m a huge ‘Brady’ fan, so I wanted to turn the house into what we all knew from the television show because all they did was use it for exterior. The inside looks nothing like it, so I was gonna add a lot of square footage, add a second floor and try to turn it into that iconic set.”

While Bass didn’t go into too much detail, he did tease that fans have a while to wait before they get to see what they do.

“There’s a lot of things that have to be done before we can start remodelling it so it’s going to take a year or two,” he said.
