Eminem has unveiled the first trailer for his upcoming flick “Bodied” ahead of its eagerly anticipated November 2 release date.
Fans have been waiting on the film for quite some time and the rapper, who acts as a producer, finally shared a link to the teaser on Twitter Monday, with the clip digging into Adam Merkin’s story.
Merkin, played by Calum Worthy, wins a rap battle in the movie before going on to be successful in the Oakland hip-hop world.
The film’s synopsis reads, “A progressive graduate student finds success and sparks outrage when his interest in battle rap as a thesis subject becomes a competitive obsession.”
The movie, which also stars Anthony Michael Hall, Jackie Long, and Charlamagne Tha God, won the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award at last year’s Toronto Film Festival.
Eminem, who recently dropped his latest album Kamikaze, is certainly no stranger to the big screen.
He’s previously starred in films like “The Wash” and “8 Mile”, as well as making cameos in “Entourage” and “Funny People”.
“Bodies” is set to hit YouTube Premium on November 28 after airing in theatres starting November 2.
