The duo took the stage in dim purple lighting while the Canadian cutie shredded the acoustic guitar and Zedd played the piano and rocked a sequined suit jacket.

“Lost In Japan” is off Mendes new self-titled album but didn’t originally feature the music producer.

In September Zedd released his own remix of the catchy tune becoming a viral sensation for both artists, ultimately leading them to the AMAs stage.

Not only did Mendes perform, he already took home Favourite Artist – Adult Contemporary. He was also up for Favourite Social Artist but that honour went to K-pop group BTS.
