If there is any doubt remaining about the pervasive power of social media just ask Mark Ruffalo, who regained his lost wallet and cell phone thanks to Twitter.
The Spotlight star apparently lost his wallet and phone in New York City in the midst of this weekend’s massive blizzard, and sent out an “APB”; on Twitter to let his 2.14 million followers know about it, promising a “reward and a signed pic”; for information leading to their safe return.

Apparently he was soon inundated with tips and info from fans, prompting him to reply: “Wow, thanks for all the tips and help for my lost phone,”; Ruffalo wrote. “Really appreciated.”;
Even more miraculous: the wallet (containing the phone) was found within 20 minutes, and eventually safely returned to its owner.
“That was freaking fast,”; he marvelled in a tweet. “Thanks for helping me find it!!”;
