Leading up to this year’s NHL All-Star festivities in Nashville, hockey fans can get a sneak peek with a live one-hour special: NHL All-Star Friday Night: Live in Music City, hosted by Kathryn Perry of The Band Perry and NHL broadcaster Kathryn Tappen.
This primetime TV special will feature live roundtable discussions with NHL All-Star players, as well as performances from top country acts, with viewers also promised “a few surprises.”;

Scheduled performers include Aaron Lewis, Kristian Bush, Big & Rich, John Hiatt and Lee Brice from the outdoor Honda Stage at Bridgestone Winter Park in the heart of downtown Nashville, while the telecast will also feature interviews and appearances from NHL All-Stars Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche, Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames, Roman Josi, Pekka Rinne and Shea Weber of the Nashville Predators, Brandon Saad of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning, P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens and more.

As if that’s not enough, country superstar and All-Star game celebrity coach Vince Gill will be joined by Roman Josi to give viewers a tour of Nashville’s Gibson Guitar Factory.
The special will air Friday, Jan. 29 on Sportsnet.
