Filming on the as yet untitled remake of sci-fi classic Blade Runner gets underway this summer!
Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford are set to begin filming on Blade Runner 2 in July, Alcon announced on Monday.
With Canadian Denis Villeneuve signed on as director, Ford returning as Rick Deckard and Gosling jumping on board as a lead actor, fans should feel reassured by the stellar cast and crew.

And while plot details are being kept hush-hush, Blade Runner co-writer Hampton Francher will join Michael Green to adapt an idea he dreamed up with original director Ridley Scott.
The announcement also comes with the news that Sony Pictures has nabbed the film’s international distribution rights.
