Kristen Bell is the latest celebrity guest to sit down with host Tim Kash on “The IMDb Show”, where she engaged in a freewheeling conversation that ran the gamut from her favourite episode of her Global sitcom “The Good Place” to the various characters she’s portrayed onscreen over the years.
In addition to opining about whether her characters in such projects as “Frozen”, “Gossip Girl” and “Veronica Mars” would wind up in the Good Place or that other place, she confirms a piece of trivia about her that appears on her IMDb page.
Kash notes that one of the entries reads, “Have dessert after every meal, even breakfast.” But is it true?
“That was true, before I turned 35. The sentiment behind it is live your best life, indulge — although as I slowly realized into my 30s that I might have a sugar allergy it became less enticing,” she admits.
“It’s almost great because I’m a sugar fiend. I wanted it all the time,” she adds before delving into “TMI” territory by detailing how sugar causes her to have eczema outbreaks.
She also runs down her current TV favourites, which include some newsy picks (“60 Minutes” and PBS’s “Frontline”) along with the recent Stephen King anthology “Castle Rock”.
You can watch the interview in its entirety above; and don’t forget, you can catch Kristen Bell on “The Good Place”, airing Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Global; you can also watch full episodes online.
