Lauryn Hill apologized to fans in Nashville after being forced to cancel at the very last minute.
The singer was set to perform at the Municipal Center on Thursday night as part of her Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th anniversary tour.
The show was meant to start at 6:30 p.m. but two hours past that time Hill tweeted an announcement that she was unable to perform because her band’s flights had been grounded due to Hurricane Michael.
Hill apologized and noted that she had attempted to work with local musicians to make the show happen but there wasn’t enough time.
She promised that the show will be rescheduled for a future date and that she plans to do something “special for the community who came out tonight to support.”
