“Alias” fans are in for a treat it seems.
Jennifer Garner believes a reboot of the critically acclaimed espionage action television series is in the works. Garner, 46, starred as CIA double agent Sydney Bristow from 2001 to 2006.
“I’ve heard that there’s an ‘Alias’ reboot happening, but no one’s talked to me about it,” Garner told The Hollywood Reporter. “I mean it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me on as a guest, I would be very, very angry. But I can’t imagine it being that serious yet because I haven’t heard anything about it at all.”
In the past, Garner has said the onus for a revival would likely fall on executive producer J.J. Abrams.
The “Peppermint” star makes her return to the small screen Sunday night in Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner’s eight-episode limited series “Camping”.
